W.J. Markham were long-established ironmongers in Buckingham High Street, with a trading history dating back to the 19th century.
The world-famous Silverstone motor-racing circuit straddles the county boundaries of Buckinghamshire and Northamptonshire. The Motor 100 pageant, celebrating a century of world motoring, was held from 25-27 May 1985
