Major Edward Ussher Walshe served with the Royal Field Artillery in Somaliland in 1901 and during the Great War served in France and Flanders with the B.E.F. from 18 August 1914. He was promoted to the rank of Major on 6 March 1916 and is shown as retired in the 1922 Army List. Sold with copy m.i.c.
