Francis Elliot, ironmonger, Eastgate, admitted freeman 1626, alive 1666; John Goodall (1637-1720), b. Earl Shilton, lived at Eastgate, admitted freeman December 1659, chamberlain 1665, churchwarden 1670, alderman 1671, mayor 1690, first wife Sarah, née Rowe (†1689) bore him 11 children, second wife Appolina; Daniel Heggs (b.1638), mercer, apprenticed to Francis Elliot, admitted freeman April 1661.
