Mary (1542-1567), Fourth period (with Henry Darnley), Ryal, 1565, mm. thistle on rev. only, 30.45g/9h (SCBI 35, 1121; B 2, fig. 904; S 5425 and p.70). Reverse with crowned thistle countermark for the 1578 revaluation, a few hairlines on obverse, otherwise nearly very fine (£450-550)
