Charles I (1625-1649), Tower mint, Halfcrown, Gp IV, mm. star, horse with mane before chest and tail between legs, rev. large almost round scroll-garnished shield with narrow garniture at base, 14.91g/9h (SCBI Brooker 368-9; N 2214; S 2779). Weak in places, otherwise very fine, light olive-grey tone (£150-200)
