Charles I (1625-1649), Tower mint, Shilling, Gp A, mm. lis, bust with high double-arched crown, both arches jewelled, rev. square-topped shield over cross fourchée, 5.81g/2h (Sharp A1/1; SCBI Brooker 382, same dies; N 2216; S 2781). Very fine with attractive grey tone (£250-300)
