Charles I (1625-1649), Tower mint, Shilling, Gp B, mm. negro’s head (over cross Calvary on rev.), from the same rev. die as lots 33 and 37, 5.90g/2h (Sharp B2/2; SCBI Brooker 412-13, same obv. die; N 2220; S 2785). Some weakness, otherwise fine but the obverse mint-mark very clear, rare (£150-200)
