Paul Alexander Scott served during the Great War with the 7th (Service) Battalion, Rifle Brigade, in the French theatre of war from 18 May 1915. He advanced to Acting Major in September 1916, and Acting Lieutenant-Colonel, in April 1918. He was employed during the latter stages of the war with the 7th (Service) Battalion, Duke of Cornwall’s Light Infantry. After the war he resided in Gatooma, Southern Rhodesia.
