The Prince of Wales’s Leinster Regiment Officer’s Helmet Plate 1881-1901, a fine quality example of standard crowned star pattern back plate with laurel and Garter overlays, in the centre on a ground of red velvet (faded) the Prince of Wales’s crest, motto, maple leaves and honour scroll ‘Central India’, below a silver scroll ‘Prince of Wales’s Leinster Regiment’, the gilt sound under some surface grime very good condition £300-400
