Warrant for the award of the Danish Order of Dannebrog conferred on “Sir John Denton Pinkstone French, Generallieutenant, General Officer, Commander in Chief, Aldershot Army Corps” on 10th July 1907. 23x37cm, attractive pre-printed form with decorative head incorporating the insignia of the order, seal of the order affixed at foot. Signed and dated 26th August 1907. Together with: extracts from the Statutes of the Order, 2pp., French and Danish language. All contained in orig. envelope with wax seal of De Kongelige Ordeners Segl, folded, near very good £150-250

French was admitted to the order following the Royal Review in honour of the King and Queen of Denmark held at Aldershot on 12th June 1907.
