Charles I (1625-1649), Oxford mint, Halfcrown, 1642, mm. Oxford plume on obv. only, Shrewsbury horseman, no plume behind, high ground line below (a Shrewsbury die), rev. Declaration, three Oxford plumes above, date below, reads inimi, 14.34g/1h (Bull 590/4E; Morr. B-4; cf. SCBI Brooker 878; N 2409; S 2950). On a large if slightly irregular flan, good fine, reverse better, rare £500-700
