Charles I (1625-1649), Tower mint, Shilling, Gp E, mm. tun, bust 5, pellet stops both sides, reads d g g ma, 5.67g/7h (Sharp E3/2; SCBI Brooker 509; N 2225; S 2791). Very fine and attractively toned but centres weak, the error reading rare £150-200
