Charles I (1625-1649), Tower mint (under Parliament), Halfcrown, Gp III, type 3a3, mm. eye (possibly over (R) on rev.), 14.28g/6h (Bull 514/33, this coin; SCBI Brooker 359-60; N 2213; S 2778). Obverse weak, otherwise nearly very fine, reverse better and retaining some original bloom, a pleasing example of this rather crudely struck type £150-£200
