Charles I (1625-1649), Tower mint, Halfcrown, Gp III, type 3a, mm. tun (four pellets either side on obv.), third horseman, oval garnished shield, 15.16g/3h (Bull 301/23; cf. SCBI Brooker 342; N 2209; S 2773). Weak in places, small scratches on horse, otherwise nearly very fine, dark-toned £120-£150
