Charles I (1625-1649), Tower mint, Shillings (2), both Gp B, type 1a, mm. cross Calvary, bust 1, colon stops on obv., no stops on rev. 5.79g/2h; mm. castle (over blackamoor’s head on rev.), bust 2, colon stops on obv., no stops on rev., 5.78g/2h (Sharp B1/1, B2/1; SCBI Brooker 403, 414; N 2218; S 2784) [2]. Second fine, first a little better but with flan splits £200-£260
