18th Century Tokens, Co DURHAM, Stockton-on-Tees, Thomas King[s]ton, Kempson’s Halfpenny, 1794, helmeted bust of Sir Bevois left, rev. ship sailing right, edge payable at kingtons stockton, 10.19g/6h (DH 9). Struck from rusted dies with usual flaws around face of bust and under p of publico, otherwise about extremely fine with a hint of original colour, extremely rare; very few specimens known £200-300
