Op de Toestand Tijdens de Aanvang van het Nieuw Jaar [on the state of affairs at the beginning of the year), silver medal by Holtzhey, Time holding a baby in his arms, seated on a broken stone inscribed GERMANI, symbols of the European war behind, TRISTE EUROPAE STATVS above, reverse seated female figure holding bundle of arrows in one hand, and a laurel branch in the other, 45mm (Loon 362; KPK 3072). A little scuffed, about extremely fine, llghextly toned (£120-140)
