Glenn Curtiss (1878-1931), part of the Aerial Experiment Association with Graham Bell, started the public flights in the United States in 1908 (planes: Red Wing. White Wing, June Bug, silver Dart..). Curtiss started to develop the sea plane in 1911, first with float then with hull. One of the most prestigious American aeronauts of his day.
