Wyon, interior of the Chamber, reverse Londinia, attended by Commerce and Magistracy, addressing her council, 77mm (BHM 3177; E 1705; Welch 19; Taylor 206a). Extremely fine and practically as struck, a wonderfully detailed medal (£50-70)

400 struck. The Chamber, designed by the City architect Sir Horace Jones, was built in 1883-4 to seat 206 members. It was destroyed in the 1940 Blitz
