Henry Trydell was born at Montreal, North America, and attested for the 73rd Foot at St Helier, Jersey, on 16 January 1855, aged 14 years 11 months. He served abroad at the ‘Cape of Good Hope, 2 months; Singapore, 6 months; Ceylon, 4 years 10 months; East Indies, 8 years 1 month’, and was discharged at Kirby on 18 February 1879, on termination of his second period of limited engagement. Sold with copied discharge papers.
