Henry VIII (1509-1547), Second coinage, Groat, Tower, mm. rose, small face with pointed nose, crown within inner circle, Lombardic lettering, reads di g r and frac, saltires in cross-ends, 2.58g/9h (Whitton (i), 2; Laker B; N 1797; S 2337D). Reverse a trifle off-centre, otherwise very fine with a good portrait, toned £240-£300
