Henry VI (First reign, 1422-1461), Cross-Pellet issue, Penny, London, mm. cross IIIb on obv. only, saltire on breast, pellets by crown, trefoil after hen, mascles after ric and rex, double saltires after lon and don, pellets under tas and don, 0.81g/5h (Whitton –; N 1520; S 1939). Creased and with small perforation to left of crown, otherwise about very fine and very rare, neither die variety listed by Whitton £150-£180
