Charles I (1625-1649), Hereford mint, Halfcrown, 1645, King on horseback left, oval shield within Garter, supported by lion and unicorn, crown and small crowned c r above, date below, 14.04g/8h (Bull 683/62 (62-4); N 2359; S 2915). Struck in base-looking silver, old scratch across obverse, otherwise nearly very fine for this extremely rare issue £5,000-£7,000
