A Georgian ivory and bone alphabet counter set, circa 1800, the cylindrical case with crosshatching to the top and bottom discs, and edged with fine wirework threading, the internal screw off cover revealing 26 circular counters each engraved with a letter of the alphabet, with incised capital letters to one side, and lower case letters to the obverse, diameter of counters 3.8cm, height of cylindrical box 7.5cm. £150-£200
