A German Second World War Police Shako. A Gendarmerie shako having patent brown front and rear peaks, also crown with the police green cloth sides with its large police national eagle and red, white and black cockade, correct brown leather chinstrap. To the interior its light tan 9 tongued liner in excellent condition with original drawstring. The upper inner crown with the maker’s stamp of ‘Erel Robert Lubstein’ and size ‘58’, very good condition £200-£300
