Charles I (1625-1649), Oxford mint, Halfcrown, 1645, mm. plume on obv. only, Briot’s horseman, Oxford plume behind king, course pebbly ground below, colon stops, three plumes above Declaration, date and ox below, rosette stops, 14.24g/10h (Bull 628/2; Morr H –; N 2431; S 2959). Scratches above King, otherwise better than fine with dark (artificial?) tone, very rare £300-£400
