Three: Private James Granger, 2/60th Rifles

South Africa 1834-53 (Jas. Granger. 2nd Bn. 60th Rifles.) Indian Mutiny 1857-59, no clasp (Jas. Granger, 2nd Btn. 60th Ryl. Rifles); Army L.S. & G.C., V.R., small letter reverse (1283. Jas. Granger, 2nd Bn. 60th Foot) edge bruising and contact marks, otherwise good fine and better (3) £550-£650

James Granger was born at Aldermaston, near Newbury, Berkshire, and served abroad with the 2/60th Rifles at Corfu for 1 year 1 month, at Jamaica for 2 years 11 months, in Canada for 3 years 1 month, at the Cape of Good Hope for 6 years 7 months (Medal for Kaffir War of 1850-53), and in India for 2 years 1 month (Indian Mutiny medal). He was discharged after 21 years 5 months service, and was admitted as a pensioner with Chelsea Hospital on 10 July 1860. Sold with some service details.
