George Scott served with the 2nd Foot in the Kaffir War in 1851-53. L.S. & G.C. roll states ‘Discharged. Medal sent him 17/10/1845’. Sold with a 2nd Foot pewter tunic button salvaged from the wreck of the Birkenhead.
