Roman Imperial Coinage, Hadrian, Denarii (2), both Rome, c. 130-8, laureate bust right, rev. Egypt reclining left, leaning on corn basket and holding sistrum, ibis by feet, 2.93g (RIC 1481 [297d]; RSC 100); similar, rev. Africa wearing elephant scalp head-dress, reclining left, holding scorpion and cornucopia, basket of grain by feet, 3.38g (RIC 1494 [299d]; RSC 138) [2]. Second with minor corrosion on reverse, otherwise very fine, scarce £100-£150
