Albert George Mitchell attested for the Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry, and served with the 3rd Battalion, attached to the Army Gymnastics Staff, for a period during the Great War. He was awarded his Long Service and Good Conduct Medal per Army Order 150 of 1927.
