James Edward McVay enlisted into the 20th Battalion London Regiment on 27 September 1912. He entered into the France/Flanders theatre of war on 19 August 1915 and was discharged due to wounds on 31 October 1916 and was awarded the Silver War Badge. Sold with copied m.i.c. and S.W.B. roll extract.
