3 officers and 44 other ranks of the 7th Hussars served in the Light Camel Regiment on the Nile. In addition, one officer and three men served in the Mounted Infantry Camel Regiment and were present at Abu Klea, as was one other rank who was serving with the staff.

Alick Moore was born at Southampton and enlisted for the 7th Hussars on 10 June 1881. He was discharged at Canterbury on 6 June 1893. Sold with copy discharge papers.
