George Frederick Wiltshire, Stoker, R.N.R., H.M.S. Newmarket, was killed in action on 17 July 1917 in the Eastern Mediterranean. The minesweeper Newmarket is believed to have been sunk by the U-38. He is commemorated by name on the Portsmouth Naval Memorial.
