George III (1760-1820), Pre-1816 issues, Proof Farthing, 1799 (late Soho), in gilt-copper, edge obliquely grained, 6.25g/6h (Cooke 298; BMC 1275 [KF 9]; Selig 1429; S 3779). Usual die flaw in upper obverse field, light hairlines and some spotting on reverse, otherwise extremely fine and brilliant £400-£500
