David Joseph A’Herne initially served during the Great War as Acting Bombardier in the Honourable Artillery Company. He was discharged to a commission in the Royal Garrison Artillery on 10 February 1917.
John Bee was appointed to a commission in the Royal Field Artillery on 22 July 1918 and is entitled to the BWM for Great War Service. Remaining in India, his MIC displays administrative confusion regarding entitlement to IGS Medal, clasp Afghanistan 1919, for possible service with 8th Pack Battery, R.G.A. on the North West Frontier.
Charles Geoffrey Cullen served during the Great War as Second Lieutenant in the Suffolk Regiment.
Charles Holme Mowbray served in France from 12 September 1914 as Captain in the 2nd Battalion, Suffolk Regiment. He was later promoted Major.
