A 2nd pattern Wehrpass, issued 7 February 1940 to Private Ewald Wiegert, 11th Grenadier Regiment, who served on the Eastern Front in 1943; and subsequently in Alderney during the German Occupation of the Channel Islands from 25 January to 25 April 1945, complete with a photograph of the recipient; together with the recipient’s Soldbuch, again complete with a photograph of the recipient; and original Bestowal Certificate for the Ostmedaille, named to Gefreiten Ewald Wiegert, 11./Gren.
