British and Irish Banknotes

Stratford upon Avon Old Bank, branch of the Stourbridge & Kidderminster Banking Company, £5, 1 March 1872, serial number A10676, William Shakespeare at centre, with blue underprint, mounting remnants on reverse, with minor damage to upper left of note, overall good fine and an exceptionally rare note, indeed quite likely the only uncancelled example extant today, and still worth face value at a branch of HSBC!
