A 19th century seal fob, the plain polished oval hardstone in a fluted gold mount with shell, scroll and dolphin decoration, height excluding later loop 30mm. £100-£150

Confirmed as gold, the exact gold carat not known. Some glue residue visible where the hardstone is mounted into the base, and one tiny chip visible to the edge of the hardstone. Wear to high points of decoration.
