A silver mustard, late 18th / early 19th century, of oval form, with reeded borders and thumbpiece, with S-scroll handle, containing original ceramic liner, the hinged lid initialled ‘R’, and with engraved monogram, by Thomas Watson, Newcastle, no date letter, height 7.3cm. £120-£150

Liner cracked and with early staple repairs. Not possible to take out liner without risk of further damage.
