A vari gem-set brooch / pendant, the pear-shaped simulated turquoise cabochon claw-set within a foliate surround of brilliant-cut diamonds, spaced by oval mixed-cut rubies and sapphires, total diamond weight approximately 3.30 carats, length 6cm. £2,000-£3,000

General light surface wear to the mount and settings commensurate with age and use. The sapphires are a dark blue and dark blueish-green hue, and the rubies a pale pink colour and well matched. With minor to moderate colour zoning and typical inclusions observed throughout. The diamonds are bright and lively. The simulated turquoise stone loose in it’s setting.
According to a PMI test on an XRF Analyzer the mount is testing as between 17 and 18ct gold. The brooch and pendant fittings are testing as 14ct.
