PATEK PHILIPPE CLASSIC FROM c.2006 RECALLS THE GLORY DAYS OF THE 1930s
Patek Philippe is among the most exclusive of luxury watch brands, and this sale features a circa 2006 Grande Calatrava ‘Sector dial’ example among the highlights.
The original Patek Philippe Calatrava model was the reference ‘96’ which was introduced in 1932. The epitome of classic elegance, the Calatrava models have become a key element in the Patek Philippe identity.
The reference ‘5296’ was launched in 2005 and production ceased in 2018. With its white gold case and stunning two-tone sector dial, this watch encompassed the iconic style and allure of its 1930’s ancestors. It also has an 18ct white gold, screw-down sapphire crystal display back.
Signed to the case, dial, movement and buckle, it is 38mm in diameter and comes with its certificate of origin, instructions, leather folder and presentation case.
The estimate is £10,000-15,000.
